American
Hydrangea Society
The American Hydrangea Society was founded by the late Penny
McHenry, a wonderful woman who showed her love for hydrangeas
in her "Hydrangea Haven" which I was fortunate enough
to be able to visit before her passing.
HydrangeasHydrangeas
Another terrific site for a lot of hydrangea information.
Wilkerson Mill Gardens
A wonderful place to visit south of the city in Atlanta. Elizabeth,
one of the owners, is a wealth of knowledge. I was able to
purchase H.m. 'Brunette' from this location - a prize posession
of mine.
Aldridge Botanical
Gardens
The Aldridges are probably best known for the propogation
of H.q. 'Snowflake' - a double Oakleaf that is amazing. If
you have not ventured to this location in Birmingham - you
must make it a priority.
Heronswood
Gardens
I love this website. There is so much information about hydrangeas
a so much more. Most of my hydrangeas come from here. You
can find many great articles from Dan Hinckley here - another
person I have been fortunate enough to hear speak. Amazing
travels he has made!
